Forsyth Teacher Academy -
Dr. Beth Hebert, Director of Human Resources, and Linda Reid, Alternative Certification & Induction Coordinator, presented an overview of the Forsyth Teacher Academy. We have an extensive advisory board for the Teacher Academy which is for non-traditional routes to certification, teacher induction, endorsements and professional development support. The non-traditional route to certification requires a full time teaching job offer which fills a critical shortage area and the candidate must have a bachelor degree. There are 14 candidates for the inaugural cohort. Endorsements will begin with ESOL and Online Teaching. Click here for the presentation.
